Ed,
ReplyDeleteFeel free to add me as an endorsement.
Eric Dumatrait
Candidate for Precinct Chair 682
Thanks for your endorsement of John Faulk. Not only is he a major improvement over Sheila Jackson Lee, he has the best chance of beating her in the election. He strongly opposes this health care debacle which will make healthcare more expensive for Sheila Jackson Lee's constituents, and John Faulk strongly opposes the Cap and Trade legislation that will add $1500-3000 annually in taxes to average households. On both bills, she is voting for additional costs in taxes and lost jobs to her constituents while John Faulk will vote for their best interests.
ReplyDeleteJohn Faulk has already run a campaign against her and has received more votes than previous runs against her. Thus, John has the best chance of winning because he has name recognition and a more organized campaign effort. It is worth noting that Sheila Jackson Lee absolutely refused to debate John in the last campaign. My guess is she knew she would get her clock cleaned...
Thanks for your endorsement of John Faulk. John Faulk is definitely a viable candidate. The climate is definitely changing. New Jersey, a solidly Democratic state, elected a Republican governor even though they voted over 60% for Obama. Independents are abandoning the Democrats in droves. They see the damage done by these tax and spend Democrats in states like California, Michigan, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York that have been mismanaged by the Democrats for so long.
ReplyDeleteJohn Faulk strongly opposes the government Healthcare bill that Sheila Jackson Lee voted for that among other things allows fining and imprisoning people who don't carry health insurance, that forces people who lose their healthcare insurance after 2013 to only be able to sign on to the government insurance plan, that allows the government access to your bank account to pay health costs (That the government determines the cost of), and had provisions for a health board to determine who is allowed to receive health care based on a person's age and health much like happens in Great Britain.
He also strongly opposes the ridiculous spending going on in Washington, amnesty, corporate bailouts, Cap and Trade, and higher taxes that are all supported by Sheila Jackson Lee. Republicans have been getting their clocks cleaned because they haven't distinguished themselves as being that much different than Democrats in an attempt (That doesn't work) to attract the independent and moderate votes. John Faulk won't be making that mistake. People in the 18th District have a real choice between a man who has real convictions versus a Washington insider who felt a cell phone call was more important to answer than a constituent's question at a town hall meeting.
